Join us on the patio for an early fall evening of fun and wine tasting! Lyndee Green, our sommelier from Atlanta Wholesale Wine will be on the patio serving four wines with little bites. Two of the wines are currently available on our list, and the other two wines will be new on our list; see below for descriptions of the wines.
We are excited that one of the wines, Graffigna Elevation Blend, will be available for the first time in Georgia at our restaurant. If you’ve never attended one of our wine tastings, you should know they are casual events where you can indulge your inner oenophile. The wines will be poured in the following order:
Cousiño – Macul, Sauvignon Gris
An opaque rather greenish yellow color, to the nose it is quite fresh and citric, with a slightly sweet note, that reminds us maybe of quince, some red apple and white flowers such as jasmine , giving then way to a very good acidity in mouth, quite citric and with a slight note of white peaches.

Bodegas Tamari Reserva – Malbec
Straightforward aromas of flowers and fruits, straightforward. Hints of violets and jasmines, ripe red fruits like plums, cherries and chocolate with morello candies. Aging in oak barrels provide complexity and hints of hazelnuts, almonds and cinnamon. The palate has a pleasant and delicate attack, with balanced acidity; it is medium body, long and tasty. The flavor resembles hints of plums, toffee and caramel. Tannins are interesting, tasty, sweet and long with ripe fruit aftertaste and prolonged finish.

Graffigna Reserve – Blend
Deep red with purple hues with complex dark berry aromas highlighted with delicate black pepper and toasted notes. Well integrated tannins, round velvety body and a long, persistent finish.
New to Georgia, the first time it is available in the state.
Writer’s Block – Petite Sirah
Deep rich, essential, this Petit Sirah, is lush yet accessible, spicy yet polished, sensual yet cerebral. With layers of dark plum and earthy berry, this vino is truly poetic.

About the Winemaker
The Carrau family purchased their first vineyard 258 years ago in the Catalonia region of Spain. At the turn of the century, the Carrau family moved to Uruguay where they founded the local winery Bodegas Carrau. Today, Bodegas Carrau is an internationally recognized winery that carries on a nine generational family legacy.
